  1. When is the Day Center open?

  2. The Day Center is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 3pm. The program observes most Federal Holidays. The Day Center will not open during severe weather (snow storms, hurricanes) if the Federal government is closed.

  3. Will I receive individual therapy?

  4. No, there is no individual therapy in the Day Center. It is expected that you will continue to see your out patient therapist on a weekly basis.

  5. What about my medication?

  6. In the Day Center clients are expected to continue to see their Psychiatrist for medication prescriptions. Clients are to bring medications they need throughout the day and take them as directed.

  7. What is the average attendance and length of stay in the Day Center?

  8. The average attendance is 3 to 5 times a week for anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. The attendance and length of stay are individually determined by working with the treatment team, your outpatient therapist and your insurance provider.
